Ceglie Messapica




Ceglie Messapica is one of the largest villages in the province of Brindisi. City feature, among the most ancient of Apulia, known as the land of gastronomy for bont dishes you can taste in the many restaurants and taverns scattered among the alleys of the old town. In summer there are several festivals and for music lovers it organises "Open Jazz Festival". Ostuni




Ostuni, known tourist centre of Salento, known as the White City, because of its characteristic ancient village almost entirely painted with white lime. Oria




Oria is an ancient Messapian town appreciated subsequently by the Romans and well-known in the Middle Age. Home to a magnificent Castle of Federico II there takes place the second weekend of August, a reenactment of the procession of Frederick II of Swabia and Rioni tournament in which riders compete in a medieval jousting. Alberobello

Castellana Grotte




Castellana Grotte, municipality of Apulia in the province of Bari, known primarily for the karst complex known as "Grotte di Castellana". These karstic cavity, in 1938, discoveries are among the most fascinating of Italy and wind for a long path from 1 to 3 miles across chasms and caves.

Lecce


Lecce, in Apulia, represents the heart of Salento. The old town is full of churches and palaces in Baroque style that here has used and enhanced the typical local stone called "pietra leccese". Among the monuments include: the Basilica of Santa Croce, the Cathedral and the Roman amphitheatre located in the central Sant'Oronzo Square.
